There is a change happening in May -  I have taken over the clinic room in Crowthorne and it is now called Crowthorne Body Health.

The Covid19 roadmap is still progressing, but with the new Indian variant developing, all of the protocols I work under will have to remain in place for the forseeable future, according to my professional body and insurer.

Please either call me on 07702 600537 directly or use the online booking links to make an appointment.

I can also be contacted on if you want to contact me that way instead.  I look forward to seeing you again in the clinics.

Covid19 Roadmap - even though the roadmap is opening up various areas of the country again, all the protocols that I have to work under will be remaining in place for now.

With the news that the Government has decided to slowly open up the country, there is a tentative date for massage to be available again. At the moment there is the 12th April 2021 pencilled into the diary. This is dependant on the R factor remaining below 1, more adults getting their vaccines and hospital beds starting to empty.  My diaries will open up on 2nd April to take bookings.

As England is now back into the 3rd National Lockdown and schools have all been closed, massage therapists are not allowed to practise again. It is not known when we will be allowed back into clinics and be covered by insurance. The online booking calendars have been closed until 'hands on' therapy can be offered again. If you have any queries or questions in the meantime, please do feel free to contact me via phone, text or email. I can offer some advice if needed.

Massage therapy clinics located in Tier 4 are not allowed to proceed with 'hands on' treatments as of 23rd December - this was passed on to therapists by their professional associations very late on 24th December. There is a Govt review of the Tiers due on 30th December. If close contact procedures are allowed at that point (or some indictation on when the ban might be lifted) planning of massage treatments in Crowthorne and Strawberry Hill will proceed. If you have an appointment in a Tier 4 clinic with Kim, she will have been in touch to either cancel or re-arrange.

Once 'hands on' in Tier 4 can proceed the protocols that are deemed necessary will be adhered to.

QR Codes

As per the requirements for Covid19 - each clinic now has a QR code displayed for you to use if you want to. This is the Track and Trace app that has been put out by the Government. The clinic in Twickenham has the QR displayed on the front of the desk as you enter Faith Hair and Beauty. The Crowthorne Clinic has the QR displayed on the inside of the clinic room door so you can copy it once the door has been closed. The Dorchester Clinic has the QR displayed on the side window as you enter the clinic hallway on your right hand side.  Please do take a photo if you are using the Track and Trace system via your phone app.

LOCKDOWN 2 - 5th Nov.

Clarity is still needed on whether I can make appointments to treat justifiable emergency cases during this new lockdown. It is hoped that the various organisations will be able to publish apporopriate advice by Tue 3rd Nov.

If it is possible to see emergencies,  processes and procedures in place for all cases:

  • A phone / video consultation will have to be done within 24 hours of your appointment - it is at this point that your appointment will be confirmed.

  • You will also need to wear a face mask in the clinic and during your appointment (I can provide a disposable one if you do not have one of your own).

  • I will need to wear a face mask, visor, disposable apron and gloves.

  • I will need to ask you to wash / sanitize your hands as soon as you are at the clinic room entrance and again before you leave after your treatment.

  • I will also be washing and sanitizing my hands several times before, during and after your appointment.

  • I will need to spend 30 mins between each patient sterilizing and airing the treatment room.

  • I will need to record your temperature with a contactless thermometer before you can enter the clinic room.

  • I will need you to complete a form each time you are have an appointment with me (see button below) and I will give you a confirmation form stating that I am healthy and have not knowingly been in contact with anyone who has Covid19 symptoms.

  • I will need to use disposable couch covers and sheets for each treatment.

  • All your belongings will need to be placed in a container whilst you are being treated. I will sterilize this between treatments

  • Until these restrictions are relaxed, I am not insured to treat you unless the new procedures are followed so I hope you are able to accept these new protocols.

Sports Massage Therapy

I’m a full-time Sports Massage Therapist working in 3 clinics across the South of England.  I work with people and their soft tissue issues and approach treatment with a holistic mindset.

A Unique Approach

Everybody holds the key to their own healing, but sometimes the body needs a little help. That’s where my services come in. As an experienced Massage Therapist, I work with you to restore your balance and equilibrium.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage can be utilised by almost anybody - you do not have to be a top sports person to benefit from Sports Massage.

Sports massage on leg

Deep Tissue Massage

This can be used in conjunction with other alternative therapies. It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being.

Ultrasound Therapy

Therapeutic ultrasound is a treatment sometimes used in physical therapy. It uses sound waves used to provide deep heating to soft tissues in the body. These tissues include muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments.

Leg Injury

Sports Injury Assessments

There are various tests that can be used to check for specific types of soft tissue injuries. These tests are used in conjuction with the clinical history that is taken to get an indication of what might have happened to cause discomfort / pain.

Swedish Massage

Neuromuscular Techniques

PR (Positional Release) uses the body's nervous system to reset muscle memory and release held tension in specific muscles.

MET (Muscle Energy Technique) can be used to improve range of movement and improve mobility.
