COVID19 CLINIC UPDATES
Covid19 updates
Our professional associations and insurers have advised therapists that we need to do all we can to keep our patients and ourselves as safe as we can even though Covid19 has become endemic.
Therefore:
I will ventilate the room as much as possible
I can only take appointments on a 'prior booking' arrangement
The couch has to be cleaned between each appointment
and the couch covers are changed for each appointment.

Rebalance your muscular system with Kim Weir
Sports Massage Therapy
I’m a full-time Sports Massage Therapist working in 3 clinics across the South of England. I work with people and their soft tissue issues and approach treatment with a holistic mindset.
Treatments
A Unique Approach
Everybody holds the key to their own healing, but sometimes the body needs a little help. That’s where my services come in. As an experienced Massage Therapist, I work with you to restore your balance and equilibrium.
Sports Massage
Sports Massage can be utilised by almost anybody - you do not have to be a top sports person to benefit from Sports Massage.
Deep Tissue Massage
This can be used in conjunction with other alternative therapies. It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being.
Ultrasound Therapy
Therapeutic ultrasound is a treatment sometimes used in physical therapy. It uses sound waves used to provide deep heating to soft tissues in the body. These tissues include muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments.
Sports Injury Assessments
There are various tests that can be used to check for specific types of soft tissue injuries. These tests are used in conjuction with the clinical history that is taken to get an indication of what might have happened to cause discomfort / pain.
Neuromuscular Techniques
PR (Positional Release) uses the body's nervous system to reset muscle memory and release held tension in specific muscles.
MET (Muscle Energy Technique) can be used to improve range of movement and improve mobility.

Who am IÂ and how can I help?
I’ve been a full time Massage Therapist since 2002. I have worked with a variety of rugby teams, athletics teams and rowing squads and in several private clinics. I currently work in 3 clinics - Twickenham, Crowthorne and Dorchester. My approach is to work with you to identify what the underlying problems may be, then use the most appropriate techniques that will be the most effective in resolving your issues. If stretches or exercises are part of the recovery plan, I will discuss those with you.
My treatments are specifically tailored to the needs of each patient to make sure they receive the approach that works best for them.
I am fully insured and registered with appropriate professional organisations.
Please contact me to find out more.
